Tender Mercies of Light

In the midst of darkness
Trodden down by fears and doubts
Assaulted by the insults of life
Darts of fiery indifference hurled at random
Creating doubts of a myriad colors

The Creator sends not a whirlwind of protection
He does not need to send armies and legions of warriors
For His Truth and Love are more present
His piercing justice cuts with precision
Illuminating the lies of the Adversary

Tender Mercy
In a gentle, Ray of Light

I like the image created in this poem. Nice work with letter sounds throughout.
